We're back! The London Saxophone Choir has resumed "in the flesh" rehearsals ahead of its first concert in more than 18 months. We're inviting you to join us at the bandstand in the grounds of Guildford Castle from 2pm on Sunday 22 August (details on the Events page). What better way to spend a summer afternoon?

Formed in 2008, London Saxophone Choir plays specially arranged music in a variety of styles: baroque, classical, modern and jazz. We give formal concerts, play on bandstands in summer and perform carols in winter. Our core instrumentation is soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxes. We have an inclusive membership policy (no auditions) and draw members from all walks of life.

Our musical director, Stuart Longley, is a professional musician with over 20 years' experience of leading community ensembles.

We are not a school, but members and the musical director are always available to give help and support to new or less experienced members.
