After resuming rehearsals in the late summer, the London Saxophone Choir is now gearing up for the Christmas season. We have several concerts planned before the end of the year, beginning with two sets at the Ideal Home Show Christmas at Olympia (for details, see our Events page). It should be a great afternoon out - and what better way to get into the festive spirit?

Formed in 2008, London Saxophone Choir plays specially arranged music in a variety of styles: baroque, classical, modern and jazz. We give formal concerts, play on bandstands in summer and perform carols in winter. Our core instrumentation is soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxes. We have an inclusive membership policy (no auditions) and draw members from all walks of life.

Our musical director, Stuart Longley, is a professional musician with over 20 years' experience of leading community ensembles.

The LSC is not a school, but members and the musical director are always available to give help and support to new or less experienced members.
