london saxophone choir

Our spring and summer concert programme is now underway - we're performing at venues across London and beyond, from Leytonstone to Leatherhead and from Camberwell to Kingston-Upon-Thames. On Saturday 21 June we'll be joining thousands of other musicians across the world to celebrate Make Music Day - we're at the bandstand in Canbury Gardens, Kingston, from 2.30pm. Follow the Events link above or check out our Facebook page for more details.

Formed in 2008, London Saxophone Choir plays specially arranged music in a variety of styles: baroque, classical, modern and jazz. We give formal concerts, play on bandstands in summer and perform carols in winter. Our core instrumentation is soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxes. We have an inclusive membership policy (no auditions) and draw members from all walks of life.

Our musical director, Stuart Longley, is a professional musician with over 20 years' experience of leading community ensembles.

The LSC is not a school, but members and the musical director are always available to give help and support to new or less experienced members.
